Teng Tools sponsored Irishman Derek Tohill (Ford Fiesta Mk7) is the new European Rallycross Champion in Division 2. He clinched the title during the final round of the 2010 FIA European Rallycross Championship at the Autodrom ?eská Lípa at Sosnová in the Czech Republic (September 17-19). In a straight dual he beat the only title contender left, Norwegian Knut Ove Børseth (Ford Fiesta Mk7), and became the very first Irish European Champion in the history of Rallycross.

Silverstone was the latest venue for the BTCC with the Teng Tools backed Motor base team proving to be very competitive but missing out on the honours. After some frantic racing in normal touring car style Matt Jackson finished a creditable third for yet another podium position helping to put the team in second place in their championship table.

Teng Tools sponsored Michael Caine made it a perfect weekend by winning round 14 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Silverstone today (Sunday 22 August). Caine had to fight ahead of Tim Harvey to make sure of victory, but a hard-earned second place keeps Harvey at the head of the title race with six races to run. Jonas Gelzinis won pro-am1 despite big pressure from Ollie Jackson, while Glenn McMenamin completed a tremendous day by winning pro-am2 for the second time.

Tom Ingram dominated the Ginetta juniors at the Silverstone round of the BTCC with two pole positions, two race wins and maximum points. Quite a way to celebrate your 17th birthday!

The 2010 FIA European Rallycross Championship is reaching its final stages. Buxtehude in Germany was the host for round 8 of the 10 round European series. The circuit situated near Hamburg in the North of Germany has just installed a joker lap and there was great interest in how it would perform. The atmosphere at the circuit was vibrant as the circuit witnessed a very high volume of spectators.

Round 7, Belgium, Duivelsbergcircuit, Maasmechelen, August 6th – August 8th 2010 After a 4 week break the 2010 FIA European Rallycross Championship resumed for Round 7 at Maasmechelen in Belgium. The driver to watch in Division 1 would be former World Rally Championship winner Francois Duval. Duval is from Belgium and it was evident from the number of spectators that he is still a legend in his home country.
